Main problem related to manufacture of products from GRC is practically well-known by all the manufacturers. These are so-called pattern cracking (crazing of concrete surface). These are fine network random cracks which though do not influence product durability, but unpleasantly spoil its exterior look. These fine cracks appearing approximately in 3-6 months depending on conditions and a season. Concrete shrinkage is the reason of their occurrence, in the thin ("a film like") and not reinforced with glassfiber top layer of 1-1.5 mm in thickness. The first problem encountered with British manufacturers, who are considered as developers of this area. They specifically developed methods of dealing with the formation of the fine net cracks. However, the practice of domestic producers demonstrated that their effectiveness is low. Nobody could get rid of fine crazing cracks...
In the laboratory of our company was initially given special attention to this problem, and the results were not long in coming. Today, we have developed and proved on our own practice technology, in which, while maintaining all other benefits listed for GRC we managed to completely avoid parasitic crazing effect.
